No, really it's just a very small town in Texas. We have a Dairy Queen, a Sonic and a Chicken Express. That's it for major chains. And, if you aren't familiar with Chicken Express, I'm sorry. They make the best sweet tea around!
Sometimes, I miss having the luxuries of living in the big city. Driving through for a Mocha Frappuccino at Starbucks is one of them. So, I thought, if I can put lemonade and strawberries in the blender and make Frozen Strawberry Lemonade, who's to say I can't put coffee and milk into same blender and make a Mocha Frap?
Copycat Mocha Frappuccino
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup brewed coffee
3 TBS chocolate syrup
2 TBS sugar
1/2 cup milk
1-2 cups ice
Directions:
Combine all the ingredients in a blender. Blend. Top with whipped topping and chocolate syrup.
That's it! I used ingredients I had on hand, so I used Cool Whip (don't judge), and homemade chocolate syrup. Most of the places I looked also said to use espresso or strong coffee. I just used my breakfast blend and it tasted just fine. But, I'm not one for extra strong coffee.
Love this, Dana! I love Starbuck's ... we have a few in town ... but my problem is paying those high prices! Love this make it at home version :)
