Menu Monday

Oh my goodness!  The Heat is On!  Do you remember that Glenn Fry song?  Well it is definitely true in Texas! We have been pretty lucky this year, but it is almost August, and we are in the South, so it's going to be hot.

Great news on the pool, too!  It's finished!  We filled it with water, and 'shocked' it yesterday, so it will be ready for us today.  The boys are super excited.  This will keep them busy until school starts.

Not much else going on here at the hacienda.  But, it is time for another installment of Menu Monday.  I ended up semi-sick last week, so you will notice a couple of repeats from the previous menu.  We didn't get to those.  We had multiple Y.O.Y.O (you're on your own) nights.

You can see that I have tried to take pork out of my menus.  There is a small reason for that.  Maintenance Man was diagnosed with gouty arthritis a couple of weeks ago.  So, I'm trying to keep him out of pain. lol.
