Meatballs

Who didn't love that song as a kid? Who didn't think why in the world was someone sneezing on your spaghetti? Ew!  And, who didn't wish they had a tree made of spaghetti?

Meatballs

1 pound ground meat
1 tablespoon parsley
1 tablespoon oregano
1 tablespoon basil
1 tablespoon bread crumbs
1/2 tablespoon onion salt
1/2 tablespoon garlic salt
1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese
1 egg beaten

Mix altogether.  And I mean roll up your sleeves, take your rings off and smoosh. Once all ingredients are well mixed, form into about golf-ball sized meatballs.  I grease a cookie sheet and pop them in the oven at 350˚ for 20 minutes, but they can be pan-fried (shhhh don't tell my husband).  They can also be cooked in the crock-pot with marinara sauce or spaghetti sauce on low for all day.  We didn't particular like them this way, though.

Oh Snuffy, I'm so sorry you lost your meatball. :(  Come on over and we'll have some.

These are great with spaghetti (duh), over egg noodles with brown gravy or on a sub with marinara sauce.
