A Brother's Love

We started our 4th of July with sadness.  We learned that my husband's brother passed away.  He succumbed to cancer.  He departed this World pain-free and on to a new life free from cancer.

This brother lived with us for a while after Maintenance Man and I were married.  He was so much fun to be around.  

We are going to miss him.  Sadly, the boys and I are not going to get to make the trip to Michigan.  Maintenance Man and his other brother will be going alone.

A brother's love is never to be reckoned with.  Brothers will band together in the worst of times.  And, I think this quote sums it up.

I know that my husband looks up to his brothers just as if they were superheroes.  Rest in Peace, Dear Brother.

Happy Father's Day

I want to give a shout out to all the Dads out there.  Especially my husband.  He makes me very proud. His love for his children really shows.

What a wonderful day!  I hope you don't forget to tell the special man in your life Happy Father's Day!

I love this definition of what a boy is. It is the true definition of what a boy is all about!  My boys go outside to play with strict (I mean finger pointing, stern, mean face..the whole nine) instructions not to play in the mud.  Why does it seem that they do the exact opposite of what I say?  I tell them to stop screaming in the house.  That didn't work either.  Here they come...a big noisy mess.  

Well, they are handsome little messes, if I do say so myself. :)

Ok, you know it.  It's everywhere; Subway Art.  I was going to waste space with some examples..but I really have great confidence that you have seen it. :)

Father's Day has been on my mind lately.  My hubbers is so hard to buy for.  Probably because when he sees something he wants, he buys it.  Even in December.

With Father's Day approaching fast,(crazy how fast this year has gone by), I thought I would try my hand at some subway art.
